Meet Dr. Shi
Dr. Shi is a dedicated endodontist committed to transforming one of dentistry’s most anxiety-provoking experiences into one defined by comfort, clarity, and compassion. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the Stony Brook University School of Dental Medicine, followed by advanced specialty training in Endodontics at NYU College of Dentistry. This dual foundation in rigorous clinical education and evidence-based practice shapes every aspect of her patient care.
Dr. Shi understands that most patients visit an endodontist at a stressful moment—often in pain, worried, or unsure about what comes next. Her goal is simple yet profound: make every patient feel as comfortable as possible during a time when they may be experiencing an uncomfortable toothache or dental emergency.
She is highly skilled in advanced techniques and technologies that help root canal therapy feel virtually painless, gentle, and efficient. From meticulous local anesthesia methods to modern instrumentation and calming chairside communication, Dr. Shi prioritizes not only successful outcomes but a genuinely positive experience.
Outside the practice, Dr. Shi enjoys spending time with her husband and their two children, traveling the world together, and discovering new and diverse cuisines wherever they go. These experiences enrich her perspective and reinforce her belief in leading with empathy, curiosity, and kindness—both at home and in the treatment room.
